My name is Gary Alexzander, my mommy and daddy call me Zander.  I was born on 05/31/2004.  I was not supposed to be born until September 8, 2004.  I was nearly 3 months early and very sick when I was born.  I had a disease called E-Coli and I remember the doctors said that it was in my blood.  Just after I got over that infection I came down with pneumonia, a blood staph infection and had to have PDA surgery (to close the valve in my heart).  I am doing better now and the doctors say I might be able to go home in a few weeks.

I am really worried about my mommy and daddy right now.  I haven't see my daddy very much since after I started doing better because he is at home working and says that he needs to pay bills and try to get a new car so that mommy can take me places after I leave the hospital.  I wish I could see him more.  He tries to come up every weekend that he can borrow a car.  I heard him tell mommy that he really wants to come up more but without a vehicle that is able to drive around 250 miles one way that he could not come up more.  This really upsets my mommy because she always says that she needs daddy because he makes her feel more secure.  Mommy cries because she misses daddy a lot. I really want to see my daddy more often too.  He really needs a newer car and enough to pay bills.  Daddy cries whenever he sees me because he says that I have gotten so much bigger and misses all the good days that I have and doesn't get enough time to enjoy just being with me.  I really miss my daddy!

Will you help me to see my daddy more often?  If everyone can just give a few dollars, I know that my Daddy will be able to come up and see me more often.  My daddy set up a site on the internet to let everyone know how I am doing.
