Widow needs help to pay debts & take kitten to
vet

I am a hard working
woman who has fallen on some hard times. I lost
my husband in a car accident when my four kids were
young and managed to keep working to provide for them.
My children are now grown and moved away. They
support their own families but can't afford to help
me, although they would like to. |

Over the past 6 years,
I have had 4 different jobs, and have been laid off
from 3 of them. Those periods of unemployment
left me behind in bill payments and trying to catch
up. I am now working full time again, but lost
my house and had to move into a run-down mobile home.
There is fiberglas insulation hanging through the
celings and standing water underneath my trailer at
all times. |

As a result, I've
developed breathing problems and have incurred a lot
of medical debts. I was recently on disability
for an entire month due to a severe lung infection,
and the aggravation of the mold under my home and the
fiberglas fibers that I breathe in from the insulation
hanging through the sagging ceilings are preventing me
from making a full recovery. The disability
checks are paltry, and I have fallen even further
behind in paying my bills off.

Last year the IRS
claimed that I owed them over $1200 in back taxes, and
they confiscated my Federal tax return this yeat, so I
couldn't even use that to help catch up with some of
the overdue bills that I have accumulated. |
|
I also have a
10-month-old kitten that has not had her shots yet and
needs to be spayed. That is going to cost more
than $300, and the vet wants payment in full up front.
This kitten is my only companion now that my kids are
grown and gone, and I'm afraid that she's going to get
sick from not having her shots even though I keep her
indoors at all times. |

Can you find it in your
heart to help me? I want to pay off my personal
loan and credit card, and put together enough money to
hire someone to fix my mobile home and make it a more
healthy living situation. I need to get my kitty
taken care of, as all responsible pet owners should. |
|
I have always been the
one to help others, and volunteer time and services to
local charities. But this time I need to ask
others to help me. Any donation at all is
greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you from the
