I am a good mother of
six great kids. My husband has been hard working and
self employed all his life except for two years. We,
ourselves, have generously helped many people along
the way. Many abused our generosity and we made
ourselves vulnerable with our kindness. Only one or
two success stories made it all worth while. For us
now, it is really hard asking for help. Time is
against us and there is no one to turn to. Neither my
husband nor I have much family and friends are working
hard to survive themselves. Those friends that have
means say they would "love to help" but
don't. It is no reflection on us. It is often those
friends least able to help that are willing to
sacrifice the most to help us. |
 |
The problem: My husband
housed and hired a man who was down on his luck in the
late ninties. After initially being a good worker,
this man's conduct soon began to destroy my husbands
business. So he was let go...with a bonus pay!!??...so
he could have time to find another job. Well my
husband had paid this man with cash. This man had
problems with the IRS. So when he was let go he tried
to get unemployment eventhough he knew that neither he
nor my husband had ever paid into an unemployment fund
for him. This man also shamefully betrayed my husband
by notifiying the IRS that my husband had paid him
cash. This mess created a notice of federal tax lien
recorded just on my husband's good name alone in our
county. This somehow attaches to whatever property he
has in his name. This is enough to stop our ability to
take care of ourselves. |

The dilema and need: My
husband pre-qualified for a loan on a building that
was going for auction. He successfully won with the
best bid. Turns out the bid is 35% under appraised
value on the real estate. The problem is that the
notice of federal tax lien filed on my husbands good
name surfaced in the final stages of the loan
application and has ruined all options for any
lending. This after the closing of the auction. We
have been selling every extra item we can find. We
have dangerously wiped out all savings to cover our
legal and financial obligations towards the auctioneer
and the seller and are still falling short. Even the
seller, understanding what happened to my husband with
his loan application is willing to help some. |
 |
My husband said he
could deal with the IRS later and that it would take
time. With the IRS, you are guilty until you prove
your innocence. Because of the notice of tax lien, any
other assets we have can not be used as collateral to
secure any loans. The business my husband bid on is a
small modest restaurant/bar that he and I and our kids
are going to work very hard. My husband has combined
efforts with a friend who loves restaurant work and is
willing to help attempt a loan in his sole name to
protect the business from the IRS. Our willing partner
has no means of getting enough cash to make a
difference. Eventhough we all have good credit, this
attempt to buy this restaurant has made us cash poor.
We are running out of time. We pray and are looking
for every means to save our family's livelihood. We
need help completeing the down payment and equiping
nicely but modestly the kitchen and seating area. |
 |
Answer to our prayers:
We are humbled to accept donations as we search for
every means of assistance. My husband and I would
rather accept loans from kind hearted people who will
trust us on a divine inspired gut feeling. We can
safely repay the amounts over the next five years and
repay with interests as high as ten percent. If you
chose to help us, please provide your address so we
can set up a repayment plan. Besides our hard
work and determination, the equity in the real estate
is all we need to have the business carry all the debt
and be able to repay. |
 |
The problem is that we
are stuck with the auction price and finding the total
downpayment until we get the deed in the business's or
partner's name. Once the deed is out of the seller's
name then we can use the appraised value and 35%
equity for a refinance loan in our partner's name and
have enough money for the equipment for the
restaurant. This is how we know we can repay good
people who want to help. We are not just asking for
help. But help us to help ourselves get back on our
feet. The need is urgent and any amount will help. We
will return any excess donations. |
 |
Who are we?: We are
freedom loving patriotic Americans. Our belief and
life is Christian. We believe that this great nation
was founded on Christian principals. We are not
ashamed to profess and we live to help all our
neighbors regardless of their beliefs. We live in farm
country. |
 |
My husband and I are a
team. Never a harsh word toward each other. We live
with our hearts and try to make a difference in
peoples' lives around us. Our home is a comfort to
those that visit. We are honest and believe that it
takes a lifetime to build character and just one day
to lose it. We have suffered, been without, and
overcame. We appreciate every day and God's blessings.
We were taught that when we had surplus we should
especially help others. We have felt the joy of giving
over recieving. We remain confident that those who can
help us in our hour of need will be blessed. We want
to repay. |
