Mother with AIDS needs help to keep sons dreams alive.
 | Hello,
my name is Julia and I am 47 years old, and living
with AIDS. I
lost my husband to this disease in 1992.
My son was only 3 at the time.
I have kept my promise to my husband on his
dying bed, that our son would get a good education
and, support whatever dream he my inspire for his
future.

| This
has been emotionally hard on my son Michael, now 14
entering high school as a freshman in the next few
days. It
is hard enough being a teenager; never mine seeing his
mother in battle with AIDS on the daily bases.
He has become an advocate for kids his age. I
am proud of him and his emotional strength as we both
hold on to our faith and hope.
Michael is a good student, about BC average
student, and hopes someday to become a pro-football
player, as this is his dream since he was able to hold
a football.

| We
are asking for your help in donating to us, so that I
would be able to buy all of his school supply; as well
as all the sport equipment that will be asked of him.
Every little bit counts; we are not a vain
family in anyway.
My son has no problem in using his brother’s
had-me-downs. He has dreams that someday he will be successful to buy
this own.

| I
have been unable to keep working, due to my health,
having to go on social security disability.
It has been hard enough to put food on the
table let along pay my bills on time.
We are asking for your kindness in helping me keep
my sons dream alive, as I am unable to provide him
with all of his needs.
As my son sees me struggle each month with
which bill gets paid, he tells me, that when he
becomes a pro football player, I wouldn’t have to
worry about paying bills as he will be taking care of
it as well as buying us a nice home, he tells me;
“mom you’ll see, I promise”.
So I ask of you, is that you help my son
keep his dream alive for me too.

| As
for myself I have made my peace, and my only hope is
that I would live long enough to see my son Michael
crossing a stage to accept his high school diploma and
getting accepted to the NFL.
Then and only then will my promise and
dream would be four filled.
