It feels strange for me to write this letter, as it is very out of character for me to ask for money.  I'll start my saying that when I was 15, I was kicked out of my house because my mother married a man that had no room for children.  I led a life for several years with lots of drugs and partying that I can say I am definently not proud of. At 19, I had my first son with a man that became very abusive and I had to leave that situation.  I ran up a lot of credit card debt in order to pay bills (cash advances) and had a car repossessed.  I waitressed 6 days a week, either catching a ride or walking to work,  often times pulling a double shift and spending little time with my son. 

I was fortunate enough, when my son was 2, to meet a wonderful man that accepted both he and myself into his life.  We married and combined our lives and our debt.  I got a job as a receptionist in a dentist office and kept my job as a waitress on the weekends. My husband worked in the evironmental chemical clean-up field.  He suffered tremendously with cluster migraines (and the doctor bills mounted) and was told by a neurologist that he had to get away from his work environment.  Finally, a chemical burn to his eye forced him to change careers.  We were lucky in the fact that he eventually recovered his sight from this accident. 

He now is in the construction field and remodels homes.  We have since had another son (my children are now 10 and 4) and I decided to stay home with him so that I could make his early years better than what my first child had. (I also wanted to give more time to my oldest son and be able to help him with schoolwork which he was having difficulty with.)  This caused tremendous financial strain on our household, so I began cleaning houses and I was fortunate that he was able to come with me most of the time.  The stress from bills and knowing that my husband has most of the burden on him, has slowly escalated to extreme anxiety and a sense of being overwhelmed.     

This is my story to date.  My family has grand visions of moving to an area out of state that is very child-oriented.  I didn't get the start in life that I had envisioned for myself, and my husband works so hard to keep our family afloat.  I want to be able to help him in our efforts to move.  We have found an area that could provide wonderful business opportunities for us and a place where the kids can get a great education. My life has definently been blessed in many ways, but I feel it can't hurt to ask for help with a new start.  We need money to pay old debts, cover moving expenses and to set up a new life.  

I'm sure that once we have reached that goal, he and I are more than capable of building a life that can be wonderful for all of us.  I would like to be able to start a college fund for my children and insure that they don't get off to a bad start when they're old enough to make their own decisions. I'm sure that their are a lot of people that need money for a lot of different reasons, and that is why I am thanking anyone who took the time to read my story.  I appreciate any amount of help and I know that in the years to come when I am able, I will seek people that need my help also.
