Hi! I have never done this before and I am not exactly sure where to start but I am running out of time and options. I have looked high and low, applied to be rejected, and got mounded with paperwork to find out we don't qualify. See, the problem is this...my daughter is 14 years old and is permanently seated due to spina bifida and every problem that goes with it. (and I mean every problem it seems) Over the past year, we have had a very hard time with things. She was in the hospital for months (from Nov-Mar to be exact) and we almost lost her. Thank God we didnt. 

Well, anyway, she is getting close to 100lbs and we have to lift her in and out of our minivan and then lift her wheelchair in the back. This is getting extremely difficult especially with my husband's disability (fibromyalgia). At times, he had to muster thru tons of pain in order not to drop her when getting her in our van for an appointment because I was at work and could not help. He tries his best and she is very patient but I know it's hard. At times, I feel like such a failure cause I cant afford to supply them with a conversion van with a wheelchair lift which would put my mind at ease that one of them doesn't get hurt while I am at work. 

The only other thing we need is money to finish the 2 ramps we are putting on our rental so she can get in and out when she needs to without waiting at the top of the stairs for someone to help her down. She is a wonderful girl who is very quiet and loving and deserves to have what she needs to live as normal of a life as she can especially now that the good Lord has given her a second chance. So, please, I don't know what else to do, if you feel it in your heart, please donate so I can give her and my husband what they need so they dont seriously hurt themselves. 

I dont know what I would do without either one of them. I couldnt bare to lose one of them because I cannot make enough to give them the things that would make it so much more easier on them. I know it would help my daughter open up a bit more and hold her head up knowing that she is doing things on her own and not feeling like she is causing pain because we have to do it for her.
